What though the radiance which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind
Thanks to the human heart by which we live,
Thanks to its tenderness, its joys, and fears,
To me the meanest flower that blows can give
Thoughts that do often lie too deep for tears.

As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is “AUTHENTICITY“.

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody as I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me. Today I call it “RESPECT“.

As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow. Today I call it “MATURITY“.

As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment, so I could be calm. Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE“.

As I began to love myself I quit stealing my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness; things I love to do and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call it “SIMPLICITY“.

As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything the drew me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude egoism. Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF“.

As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since I have been wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is “MODESTY“.

As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worry about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where EVERYTHING is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILMENT“.

As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But As I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART“.

We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born. Today I know THAT IS “LIFE“!

I started using salon haircare products about a year ago, and while there hasn’t been a major difference in how effective salon vs. store brands are, my hair has definitely gotten healthier. Less split ends, less breakage, less dullness. I find that especially salon conditioners help keep hair healthy, for the simple reason that they contain actual nutrients instead of silicon products (which is what store-brands use). Silicon is what makes hair super-shiny and smooth but doesn’t actually boost its health.

Yeah, I agree that salon products are insanely expensive, so I use select products, like conditioner or certain styling products. However, my hair is definitely not my best feature, so I would recommend that women with gorgeously thick and shiny hair use salon products. There is nothing sexier than beautiful hair, and if you’ve got it, you should show it off!

A couple years ago I thought EXACTLY like you & used Panteen myself. One day after getting my hair cut & colored, I figured I’d try the shampoo & conditioner because it was on sale. I love it & will never go back to Panteen. My Mom is cheap & I got her switched over too. The difference is after about 6-8 weeks using Panteen, the ends of my hair were always dry. I thought I just needed a trim every 6-8 weeks. But with the professional shampoo & conditioner, my ends are never dry & I only need to get a trim every 3 months. I think $50 is outragous for shampoo, but stop using Panteen!

I wouldn’t call salon hair products a waste of money
I find that salons have better hair styling products for curly hair that really work.
Pantene has wax as one of its main ingredients so thats why your hair looks shiny. It doesn’t seem healthy.
